ACI Marina Split
is located on the south-western corner of the city harbour to the north of the Sustipan Peninsula. The marina is protected by a long L-shaped breakwater. Split is the largest town of Dalmatia and is an important cultural, economic, tourist and sport center. The town has a few swimming places, many hotels and sport facilities. Above the town, there is the mountain Marijan with pine woods, Mediterranean plants, a zoo and three churches from the Middle Ages.

Approach:
Landmarks when approaching the city include the bell tower of the cathedral St. Duje and the rocky Sustipan point. There are no particular hazards but remain careful of the many ferries entering and exiting the harbor.

Mooring: The marina has 364 sea and 60 dry berths.

Facilities: Reception, exchange office (bureau de change), restaurant, snack-bar, toilets and showers, grocery store, chandlery (nautical equipment shop), repair shop, 10 t crane, slipway (35 t), car parking. Customs formalities can be carried out in the city port all year round. The fuel station is in front of the Marjan Hotel (100m). This marina is one of the main ADAC and 0MATC information and service points.

Arrival to Split: There are regular ferry lines to Rijeka and Dubrovnik, as well as Trieste, Ancona and Pescara in Italy. The train and bus station as well as the port are only 1 km from the marina. Split Airport, some 25 km from the city, connects the entire region with the rest of the world.

How to reach marina Split?

By plane
The Split airport is around 25 km far away from Split. Direct flights to Split depart from the following European cities: Goteborg, Berlin, Prague, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Paris, London and Manchester, etc. There are many other possible options if flying to Zagreb. There are several flights from Zagreb to Split and vice versa on a daily basis, and the flight lasts approximately 35 minutes.

By car or bus
If you are arriving in Split from the direction of Italy, you can use the Adriatic highway from Rijeka toward the south, if you prefer to travel along the coast. Or you can use the highway when you reach Rijeka or the junction Zuta Lokva near the town Senj, about 60 km south of Rijeka, and continue driving toward Split. If you are arriving from the direction of north, [tie highway Zagreb - Split is the fastest way. Or you can use the alternative, i.e. the old route Zagreb - Karlovac - Plitvice - Gracac- Knin - Split.

By train
There are fast trains from Zagreb to Split on a daily basis (8 hours drive) as well as business trains (5,5 hours drive).

By ship
IfI travelling by ship, you can use some of the regular ferry lines from Rijeka or Dubrovnik toward Split, or international ferry or fast lines from Italy (Ancona, Civitanova, Giulianova, Pescara, Bari).
