Rogoznica, Croatia - marina Frapa

Marina Frapa is one of the most beautiful Croatian marinas, lies between Sibenik and Split, in the town of Rogoznica. This beautiful town is situated on an artificial island built in the mid-90s the cove of Soline and is thus well protected. The island with all the marina 's facilities, as well as its nine piers spread across over 136 thousand square metres make it a beauty among the marinas.

Approach: There is a lighthouse, with a red light at night, on Gradina point. Marina is well-protected from all winds.

Open: Troughout whole year.

Mooring: The marina has 300 sea and 150 dry berths. All berths have water and power supply.

Facilities: Reception, exchange office (bureau de change), high quality apartment accommodation,  swimming pool, restaurants, wine bar, champagne bar, Captain 's Club, grocery shop, chandlery, ice cream shop, pizzeria, toilets and showers and car parking. The fuel station is in the marina.

Transport to marina Frapa in Rogoznica:

The marina Frapa is located near Split Airport (34 km) and near two of Croatias  national parks Krka and Kornati.

By plane
If arriving by plane, you can choose the Split airport, that is 34 km far away from Rogoznica. From there you can reach Rogoznica either by bus or taxi, but it is also possible to organize transfer to the marina.

By car or bus
If arriving by car, you can travel via Trieste, Rijeka, and then use the Adriatic highway toward Zadar and Sibenik, it you prefer to travel along the coast. Or you can use the highway when you reach Rijeka or the junction Zuta Lokva near the town Senj, about 60 km south of Rijeka, and continue driving toward Split. If you are arriving from the direction of north, you can either use the old route Zagreb - Karlovac - Gracac - Knin - Sibenik - Rogoznica or the highway Zagreb - Split.

By train
There are fast trains from Zagreb to Split on a daily basis (8 hours drive) as well as business trains (5,5 hours drive). From Split, you can reach Rogoznica either by bus or taxi.

By ship It travelling by ship, you can use some of the regular ferry lines from Rijeka or Dubrovnik toward Split, or international ferry or fast lines from Italy (Ancona, Civitanova, Giulianova, Pescara, Bari). From Split, you can reach Rogoznica either by bus or taxi.
