Sailing is very popular in Croatia for you can enjoy beautiful weather exploring the magnificent coast of the Adriatic.
The impressive landscape along the Adriatic coast
offers a variety of possibilities for your vacation, a chance to
explore the beauty of the crystal sea, sandy and pebble beaches, hidden
bays, picturesque ports and many seaside resorts. You will experience
its unspoiled and amazing nature with all your senses.
Sailing in Croatia gives you the opportunity to spend your vacation relaxing and enjoying the good food and wine.
You can choose among the variety of yachts, from smaller sailing boats, motor boats up to luxury yachts.
There are several options for charter. If you
think you meet the requirements for independent sailing, then choose
the bareboat charter without skipper. For those who want a skipper to
manage the yacht or the crew to take care of navigation and
provisioning, we suggest crewed charter then.
Prices depend on the boat length, charter period,
year of manufacture, quality and quantity of equipment, sometimes on
base as well. Nautical tourism has become more popular over the past
few years, especially to wealthy customers whose intended expenses pass
the average standards. It is actually a tourist product for it is
related to water sport activities (recreational activities and
regattas) and entertainment.
The importance of nautical tourism is really
significant, for it will improve the services we offer and its
development means revitalization of coastal resources as well. Even
less popular or rather undeveloped locations have potentials.
Nautical tourism represents one of the most attractive
forms of tourism in Croatia. Since the Croatian coastline abounds in
numerous islands, beaches, natural resorts, ports and bays, it does
attract attention of many.
Croatian Association of Nautical Tourism was
established as a professional organization under the Croatian Chamber
of Commerce and includes four groups: the Croatian Marinas Group, the
Croatian Charter Vessels Group, the Croatian Diving Tourism Group and
the Cruising and Motor Sailboat Excursions Group. It is the centre that
will provide all the necessary information for boaters and aim to
improvement of our offer. Among some of the activities that may be
carried out we find rowing, water skiing, sailing, surfing, yachting,
sports fishing, scuba and snorkelling, these among many others. Croatia is known as a land of many islands, more than 1000 spread along the coast of the Adriatic. Each
is interesting in its own way, offering an adventure of its own. Only e
few are inhabited, therefore are enriched by many natural resorts well
preserved in spite of many visitors.
Their great advantage is the vicinity to each other which provides the possibility of so called island hopping. It means you can visit several islands in a short time period and explore their landscape and relax during your journey.
That is the advantage of spending your vacation on board, for
you are free to choose your own itinerary and decide whether to stay on
board or abandon yourself to these beautiful pearls of the Adriatic.
Take the advantage of spending your vacation on as many islands as you can.
Your captain will take you to the adventurous journey
where you can choose among the variety of tours through the island;
historical tour, hiking tour, bike tour, kayak. Set sail from one of
our ports, Split for instance towards Brač and go for a bike tour over
Supetar, Splitska, Postira and backwards, or cross the island towards
South where you can reach the highest point of all the Adriatic
islands, Vidova Gora and then down to Bol, famous for its beautiful
beach Zlatni rat. Your journey so continues across the island of Hvar
and its vast lavender fields and vineyards, then Vis and Korčula. At
this point you can head off towards Northwest until you reach Omiš, a
small port on the mouth of river Cetina. Here you can ride your bicycle
to the river canyon or enjoy the rafting adventure. You can end your
journey enjoying peace and pleasant moments on the island Šolta and
then return to Split and thus conclude your vacation.
