Biograd, Croatia - marina Kornati

Marina Kornati is situated in the town of Biograd. It is a modern nautical centre, located north of the ferry pier in the northern part of the town harbor, at the gateway to the Kornati Archipelago, a famous national park with over 150 islands. The town Biograd na Moru dates from the 10th century and has developed into a tourist destination in the last fifty years, characterized by beautiful beaches and picturesque bays.

Approach: Boats enter between the the two large breakwaters protecting both sides of the marina. The breakwaters protect the marina from winds but north-westerlies can produce swells in the marina.

Open: Troughout all year.

Mooring: The marina has 450 sea and 60 dry berths. All berths have water and power supply.

Facilities: Reception, exchange office (bureau de change), restaurant, Captain 's Club, grocery shop, chandlery (nautical equipment shop), repair shop, 10 t crane, 50 t travel lift, car parking.

How to arrive to marina Kornati in Biograd?

The marina is 300 km from the Italian border and 400 km from the Austrian. Zadar Airport is just 20 km away to the north and Split 120 km to the south.

By plane
You can reach Biograd in two ways: either to travel from the airport Zadar that is approximately 25 km drive by car or bus, or from the airport Split that is around 120 km far away.

By car or bus
If travelling by car or bus from the direction of Zagreb toward Biograd, the fastest way is via highway, driving in the direction Split. Since the Adriatic highway passes near Biograd, it is no problem to reach it from the direction Trieste - Rijeka - Zadar.

By train
Via railway, the neighbouring Zadar is via Knin connected with Zagreb and the rest of Europe. By ship If travelling by ship, you can use one of the regular ferry lines from Rijeka or Dubrovnik toward Zadar or international ferry lines from Ancona toward Zadar.
